GHC- Facebook Grace Hopper Women in Computing Scholarships

This scholarship program is open to all women currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate or graduate degree-seeking university program, majoring in Computer Science or a related field (i.e. Computer Engineering, Math, Statistics, Information systems). It enables one to attend the prestigious Grace Hopper Women in Computing conference in Orlando, Florida from September 30 – October 4, 2019 (includes travel and lodging expenses).

There are also opportunitites for Staff Members.


CETL- Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning

In an attempt to accommodate as many faculty members as possible, and to better serve you, the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) in collaboration with the Campus Office for Online Learning (COOL) and MITS, has been expanding its services. For this academic year, the CETL:

  • has introduced a structured virtual one-on-one consultations,
  • has increased its number of training sessions,
  • is extending their training via online video tutorials and
  • is initiating more practical-based publication guides and tips.
