The UWI Model United Nations is a simulation of the United Nations, where students role-play as diplomats representing various countries. This society enhances understanding of international relations, diplomacy, and global issues. Members develop skills in public speaking, negotiation, and policy analysis through participation in conferences and mock UN sessions.
Our Activities
- Mock UN Sessions: Represent nations in realistic mock sessions of the General Assembly and Security Council, debating global issues like climate change, human rights, and international security.
- Debates and Panel Discussions: Take part in local and international MUN conferences, building confidence and learning diplomacy alongside peers from around the world.
- Networking Events: Improve your research, negotiation, and public speaking skills with expert-led sessions designed to prepare you for global leadership roles.
