Carole Mitchell is practicing clinical psychologist with expertise in conducting psychological assessments, providing therapeutic intervention for a wide range of psychological conditions and clientele and conducting workshops and seminars on a variety of issues. Carole is a post- doctoral research fellow of CICAD/OAS.

Carole is a member of the Jamaica Association on Intellectual Disability (JAID), Jamaica Psychological Society (JAMPSYCHE), and Caribbean Alliance of National Psychological Associations (CANPA). Carole’s research interest includes disabilities studies, particularly in relation to the field of intellectual disabilities, as well as the areas of substance use and misuse, sports performance, and health and wellness. Her philosophy is embedded in the belief that success is achieved through faith and excellence in effort.
