The Mona Information Literacy Unit (MILU) was established in January 2001 to coordinate all instruction/teaching in the Library.  The Unit collaborates with faculty, librarians and administrators to ensure critical thinking competencies in the curriculum at all levels and provides  opportunities for training in information literacy skills. The training empowers students and faculty to:

•   Locate academic resources efficiently
•   Acquire research skills
•   Improve quality of academic assignment
•   Avoid plagiarism
