The Mona Library in collaboration with the Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO), Mona Office of Research & Innovation (MORI) and the Mona Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Centre (MECC) provides this TISC & IP Help Desk Service.

Technology and Innovation Support Centres (TISCs) are supported by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) which provides training and support for staff, students and members of the community.

The overall objective of the Mona Library TISC & IP Help Desk is to enable the entire UWI Mona community to have ease of access to education, information, training and advisory services in the area of Intellectual Property. This intervention is strategic and the initiative comes at an opportune time when the UWI, Mona is placing greater emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship and an increase in IP disclosure for interventions is envisaged.
