This year Jamaica celebrates 50 years of independence and the University of the West Indies marks 50 years since the attainment of University status. To celebrate a half century since the achievement of two national milestones, the Mona Library presents an exhibition highlighting the University of the West Indies’ social, economic and cultural contributions since the attainment of Jamaican nationhood.
