DEADLINE FOR ENTRY: MARCH 4, 2024

WHO CAN ENTER:

• Entrants MUST be a past or present UWI Student with an ID #
• Must be an unpublished poet
• Must be able, if chosen, to attend the clash on March 21st, 2024

HOW TO ENTER:

• Send 2 original poems (written or recorded) to litsengmona@gmail.com by March 4, 2024
• Include your ID# and "Poetry Clash" in the subject area of your email.

THE CLASH:

• 10 poets will be selected to participate based on their email submissions
• On March 21, 2024 at 2:30pm, each selected poem will perform for 2 minutes in an elimination round.
• The audience will select the top 4 poets, along with a judges' pick, and those 5 poets will then perform for of their original poetry for 3 minutes.
• The judges will select the TOP 3 WINNERS.
