The Henry Ford Health Systems - Detroit Michigan Visit- July 11 - 12, 2017 –

The Team will be sponsoring an Exchange Programme & Erasmus Funding.

The team also visited the staff members at the UWISON to discuss how the exchange will proceed

Goal of the Programme: To create a nursing exchange program which fosters leadership, education, and research to build capacity and improve health in Jamaica and in Detroit.

Biannual Nursing Leadership and Research Training Workshop:

Twice yearly, HFHS faculty will conduct a three-day intensive Nursing Leadership and Research Training Workshop in Kingston, Jamaica. The workshop will train participants on research methodology and ethics, and the skills gained will be applicable to a wide variety of future research studies which participants can develop, contributing to the increase in health research in Jamaica.
