The Office of Placement and Career Services offers a range of job placement programmes designed to connect students, recent graduates, and alumni with meaningful employment opportunities. Whether you’re seeking part-time work, summer employment, or full-time placement after graduation, our programmes support you at every step of your professional journey.
Annual Graduate Recruitment Programme (AGRP)
This programme, held from mid-March to the end of April, facilitates connections between final-year students and employers seeking qualified graduates for their organizations. It provides a structured platform for students to transition into the workforce and secure full-time roles after graduation.
Part-Time Employment Programme
Part-time work opportunities for both on-campus and off-campus roles are coordinated through the office.
Eligibility and Guidelines:
- Open to first-year students after their first semester.
- A maximum of 12 hours of part-time work is allowed per week.

- Summer Employment—if applying for summer job opportunities.

Summer Employment and Work Study Programmes
Students seeking summer jobs or work-study placements can apply early in the academic year. These positions offer valuable work experience during the summer break.
Application Process:
- Submit your application form as early as possible after registration.
- The closing date for applications is mid-April.
- Job placements are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Visit the office after final examinations to confirm your summer job placement.
Alumni Placement Services
Alumni can access job opportunities throughout the year, as private and public sector organizations advertise vacancies with the office.
Services Provided:
- Résumé submission for job matching and referrals.
- Job search assistance, including guidance on job-hunting strategies and résumé writing.
- Access to the Career Information Centre for job market insights and resources.
Eligibility:
- Free for alumni within their first year after graduation.
- Available at a minimal fee for alumni who graduated more than a year ago (valid for one year).
