Shadow Me

Job Shadowing is a workplace experience option where students learn about a job by walking through the work day as a shadow to a competent worker.  It is a temporary, unpaid exposure to the workplace in an occupational area of interest to the student.

Career Portfolio Assistance

The Office of Placement & Career Services will guide you in the preparation of your career portfolio. Students will have the opportunity to chart their educational path and co-curricular involvement. They will be able to identify careers being considered as well as possible places of employment.

Career Awareness Month

Career Awareness Month features a series of events designed to prepare students for the professional world. Activities include the Dress for Success and Workplace Ethics Seminars and scheduled Mock Interviews. On day 2, a Job Fair is held in conjunction with the expo. This is an opportunity for final year students to network with prospective employers/boothholders and to attend structured or walk-in interviews.
