ACTIVITY: Autonomous Delivery Drone Demo
OVERVIEW: The display will demonstrate a delivery drone capable of accepting ‘orders’ from a website, retrieving the payload from a pick up point and navigating to the drop off point and back to its base. This project has applications in logistic services for retailers, service providers and government agencies. It is a collaboration between the Computing Society, Electronics Club, Alternative Energy Club and the UWI IEEE Student Branch.

OVERVIEW: The event presents a fun and educational opportunity for students to create maps and simulate reducing disaster risks and addressing public health crises. The activities will introduce and provide hands on experience for students in GIS Technology, Cartology and Geography and will expose them to career options in the Geosciences.
