Overview: The TMRU was established in 1956 with the goal to deliver high quality research and service that eventually addressed regional and global issues related to malnutrition. The TMRU is one of the Units under the Caribbean Institute of Health Research (CAIHR) formerly known as the Topical Medicine Research Institute (TMRI). The TMRU has revolutionised the management and care of malnutrition and was the first to develop a practical manual for the World Health Organization (WHO) on the management of malnutrition.

Poetry Clash provides a platform for aspiring poets to share their talents at this event. UWI students, graduates and Poets from across the island will perform original poetry. Poets selected to advance will perform to a supportive and enthusiastic audience. The audience will select 4 poets to advance and there will be a judge's pick, as well. Poets! Since LNG is delivered and stored as a cryogenic liquid, it has an enormous free cold energy that can be captured and used to increase overall plant efficiencies and total lower production costs.
