OVERVIEW: Interactive displays and presentations by engineering students groups. The first-year Civil Engineering students will display a scaled model of the study area between JPS, Rockfort and Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA).

DELIVERY DRONE DEMO

DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTING
ACTIVITY: Autonomous Delivery Drone Demo
OVERVIEW: The display will demonstrate a delivery drone capable of accepting ‘orders’ from a website, retrieving the payload from a pick up point and navigating to the drop off point and back to its base. This project has applications in logistic services for retailers, service providers and government agencies. It is a collaboration between the Computing Society, Electronics Club, Alternative Energy Club and the UWI IEEE Student Branch.
