Short Course
This course is designed to explore the scope of improving the number of candidates who successfully pass the CAMC exams. The main focus is to improve the knowledge, skills and analytic abilities of foreign medical graduates and in so doing improve the quality of care being offered in the hospitals at the Internship level. This will also likely enhance throughput of doctors employed at this level. Participants will also be exposed to the various clinical situations with the use of real patients, simulation and photographs, images and case reviews. An appreciation of the influence this has on local businesses, individuals and institutions will also be presented.
Qualifications
Pre-requisites: Candidates must be graduates of recognized medical schools, holding an MD degree, and currently working or seeking registration to practice in the Caribbean. Applicants who have successfully completed the USMLE Steps 1 and 2 examinations are also eligible.
