The Caribbean School of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) is celebrating our 50th
anniversary. In commemoration of this milestone we are hosting the CARIMAC
@50 Youth Symposium on Thursday April 10th 2025 at 9 a.m to 12 p.m. This will be held in the
CARIMAC Annex 2 lecture room at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus.
The event will bring together students and industry professionals to discuss the future of media
and communication in the Caribbean, under the theme “The Role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in
Media, Communication, and Education.” We will discuss the impact of AI in transforming the
media and communication industries and the creation of new opportunities.
