Applicants must have a PhD in Theoretical/Computational Chemistry or in a closely related area of Physical Chemistry. The successful candidate must have a demonstratedarea of Physical Chemistry. He/she should be innovative, committed, hardworking and enthusiastic with excellent subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the latest student-centered teaching techniques. He/she must also possess a genuine interest in helping students and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Experience in developing and delivering programmes and courses by distance or online at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels will be an advantage.
The successful candidates will be required to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their respective areas of specilization, take part in curriculum development, be involved in interdisciplinary collaboration, develop innovative research and supervise students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
