The Academic Quality Assurance Committee for which the Deputy Principal is Chair is a sub-committee of Academic Board. It has the responsibility for matters pertaining to the implementation of quality assurance and enhancement processes at The UWI which includes monitoring relevant quality indicators, and making recommendations to Academic Board for approval of new and revised courses while ensuring that provisions are in place to support these new courses.
