The Mona Campus Research Ethics Committee (MCREC) role is to review prospectively all research protocols involving human and animal subjects proposed within the UWI Mona Campus or UHWI, by staff members or students of affliliated with other academic insitutions to ensure that they meet the required ethical and scientific standards.
