The Faculty's award system is designed to highlight and reward students who demonstrate excellence in academic performance in all programmes of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at UWI, Mona. Students who are registered in all FMS undergraduate programmes and are in good academic standing may be named on the Dean's List based on their performance in the previous academic year.
According to the Times Higher Education, World University Rankings, you are at the number one university in the Caribbean, the top 2% in Latin America and top 4% in the world.

We provide a wide array of advanced courses across various disciplines for undergraduatre and graduate students to ensure that you are well educated and equipped for the industry!
Students, staff, faculty, and alumni participated in initiatives to aid impacted communities throughout the island following the destruction caused by Hurricane Melissa, while simultaneously coming together to offer direct assistance to fellow peers encountering their own difficulties...
Our 7 faculties and 12 professional schools offer more than 200 programmes to some 18,000 graduate, undergraduate and continuing studies students.
The UWI, Mona ranks first in Jamaica among accredited tertiary-level programmes. In 2012, the University was again one of Jamaica’s Top 100 Employers.
