I have read with great interest the article by Derek Emmanuel “Toward Understanding the Biology of Crime in Trinidad and Tobago”, available at doi: 10.7727/wimj.2013.297. I too have observed the escalation of crime in Trinidad and Tobago and concur with Emmanuel’s hypothesis with regard to the existence of a biological connection.
