A Hantavirus Case with Confusion and Diffuse Conjunctival Haemorrhage

Sir,

A 19-year-old male carpenter living in a village affiliated to the district of Görele in the province of Giresun, Turkey, presented to the hospital with symptoms of fever and confusion. Cranial CT and cerebrospinal fluid’s findings were normal. ARB and Herpes PCR tests from CSF were negative, and there was no growth in CSF.

The Importance of Routine Biochemical Tests in the Diagnosis of Leptospirosis

Synopsis: 
In this study was investigated the place of routinely used biochemical tests in the diagnosis of leptospirosis. Some parameters amenable to routine use are able to differentiate the disease from other cases with similar clinical and laboratory findings.
