Issue:

Pages:

Synopsis:
In metastatic gastric cancer (MGC), the goals of treatment are palliation and prolongation of overall survival. Systemic chemotherapy, with docetaxel, cisplatin, infusional 5-fluorouracil (DCF) are a commonly used regimen in MGC as first line chemotherapy with a low tolerability rate due to its toxicity. We evaluated the efficacy and tolerability of weekly DCF compared to standard DCF regimen.

DOI:
10.7727/wimj.2015.125
Synopsis:
Chemotherapy is an important part of combined therapy for non-small cell lung cancer and can enhance the survival rate of patients subjected to surgery. This study aimed to compare the efficacy and toxicity of docetaxel combined with cisplatin (DP) and gemcitabine combined with cisplatin (GP) in postoperative chemotherapy after surgery of non-small cell lung cancer NSCLC.
