A prospective study, using CT scans, has determined that the absence of amnesia, loss of consciousness, vomiting and ENT bleed in the history and a Glasgow Coma Score of 15 on examination alone or in combination cannot exclude the presence of intra-cranial injury.

Gelatin magnetic microspheres loaded with ranitidine were localized in the stomach by magnetic field for controlled drug delivery. The microspheres released/retained the drug over a period of eight hours in the stomach and are very useful in the oral controlled delivery of drugs that undergo intestinal metabolism.

Twenty-one tetraketones were synthesized in high yields by condensation of cyclohexane-1, 3-dione with a variety of aldehydes in the presence of tetraethyl ammonium bromide (Et4N+Br¯) as catalyst under mild reaction conditions.
