He has made significant contributions to the development of the Department of Life Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology and The UWI on a whole through his applied collaborative research, professional skills, academic leadership and public service.
The Institute of Jamaica (IOJ) hosted its annual Musgrave Medal Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts, The UWI Mona. Ten distinguished Jamaicans who have done stellar work in their respective fields were honoured for their contribution to literature, science and the arts. Among them were Dr. Eric Garraway, Lecturer and Entomologist in Life Sciences who was awarded the Silver Musgrave Medal for Science.
