Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM) has successfully launched its Strategic Insights Seminar Series, delivering a high-impact opening session on December 4, 2025, at the UWI Regional Headquarters. The event brought together a dynamic cross-section of Jamaica’s business community, including leaders from the financial services industry, government ministries and agencies, the manufacturing sector and a diverse group of entrepreneurs.
The inaugural seminar, “Thriving in Change: A Leadership Imperative,” facilitated by Cheryl Hall, PROSCI, PMP, PMI-ACP, provided participants with practical strategies for leading through disruption, managing evolving workplace dynamics, and cultivating resilient, high-performing teams. The session’s interactive design encouraged reflection, discussion, and hands-on learning—setting a strong foundation for the series.
The event opened with remarks from Diane Edwards, Director, Professional Services Unit, who emphasized MSBM’s commitment to strengthening leadership capacity across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. The seminar concluded with a networking reception featuring MSBM Executives in Residence.
