In an effort to promote the post graduate programmes offered by MSBM at the Western Jamaica Campus (WJC), a Business Mixer was held on January 23, 2013 at Blue Beat in Montego Bay. The event targeted professionals from Western Jamaica as prospects for the various programmes.

The Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM) hosted the Jamaican leg of the regional Caribbean Open Data Conference from April 11 to 12, 2013.
