Professor Marvin Reid has been awarded the Fellowship Designation by the  World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA), at the  WONCA World Congress and Conference  in Sydney, Australia (October 21 to 29,2023). This is a significant and proud moment for The University of the West Indies, (The UWI) Mona Campus. This prestigious recognition underscores Professor Reid's exceptional contributions to WONCA and to the field of family medicine and further solidifies his standing as a distinguished figure in the global medical community.

The UWI Mona wishes to advise that in light of the weather conditions affecting Jamaica, the
Campus has taken the decision to move all academic and administrative services online for today,
November 17th. Staff will therefore work remotely with the exception of the emergency
management teams required to safeguard the Campus.
