Hazel E. Reid, Ed.D is a Jamaican-American anthropologist, writer and educator, who has taught at institutions including: Rutgers University (Newark), and the City University of New York - especially at Hunter College. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Institute for Unban and Minority Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
