Iris Hewitt-Bradshaw has been an educator for 35 years and has taught at the secondary school level and at Teachers College. She is currently an Assistant Professor in Language and Linguistics at the University of Trinidad and Tobago where she also mentors pre-service and in-service teachers on practicum field teaching, and supervises undergraduate and post-graduate research. She possesses a Ph.D. and a Master of Philosophy in Language Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Language and Linguistics.
