Dr. Peter Joong is a Visiting Professor in China.  He spent thirteen years as senior lecturer at University of the West Indies and Nipissing University in Canada. He has taught in Jamaican and Ontario schools for thirty years. He received Canada Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence and Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Research. Peter's current research centers on comparative studies on secondary reforms and integration of Mathematics in Environmental and Peace Education in various countries.
