Sophia Marie Murray is a student in the School of Education at the University of the West Indies, Mona pursuing a M.Ed. in the area of Educational Administration She currently serves as the Upper School Vice-Principal at Camperdown High School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of the West Indies, Mona and a Diploma in Teaching from the Shortwood Teachers’ College. Ms Murray has taught in the subject areas of Social Studies and Caribbean Studies and has a passion for implementing innovative strategies for improving the academic performance of boys. Her current research focuses on, Teachers' Perceptions on Single-Gender Classes.
