Virginia Lockhart hails from the village of Matura on the North-East Coast of Trinidad. She is the Vice Principal of St. Joseph Boys’ R.C. School. Virginia is an Mphil student at the St. Augustine Campus. Her research focuses on supplementary tutoring, the formal education system and the policy responses to this tension: the perspectives of parents, teachers, students and other key stakeholders in Trinidad and Tobago.
