This unit is responsible for preparing cheques and also sending your payment to the bank electronically on a daily basis.

Procedures - What You Should Know about the payment process

Cheques are prepared daily for distribution the next day e.g. Monday’s cheques will be distributed by the Cashier on Tuesday.

What You Should Know about the Payment Process

• If you receive your payments electronically, you will receive an email message about the payment on the very same day.
• If you would like to be paid electronically, you should complete and submit a form to the Treasury Unit. These forms may be collected at the Customer Service unit.
• To avoid non-receipt of payment changes/closure of your bank account should be communicated to the unit immediately and alternative arrangements made if necessary.
• Call the Treasury Unit at Extn. 2917/ 2918 if your payment did not reach your account.
• If you have any Queries about student cheques, please direct them the Student Administrative Service (SAS).
