Current projects focus on the design and synthesis of nitrogen-, oxygen-, and sulfur-containing molecules, as well as analogues of plant-derived natural products. These molecules are explored for potential applications in vector control, human health, and agriculture. Emphasis is also placed on using and developing synthetic methods that have reduced chemical waste and environmental impact (greener solvents, safer reagents, and multicomponent approaches).
