Educational technology or E-learning is becoming an integral part of the educational system at all levels of education. An appreciation of the capabilities and limitations of the technology, the underlying philosophical ideas, and established design methods are all essential for those planning to develop e-learning or educational software. This course is designed to introduce students to the design and evaluation of E-learning. It covers the established learning paradigms of educational technology and the philosophical ideas behind them, developments in the field, and design and evaluation.
Students will be required to pass both the coursework and the final examination to pass the course.
