Welcome to the Department of Computing. We are committed to delivering high quality taught programmes that prepare students to compete in a global marketplace for computing expertise. We believe that the best way to prepare students for the rapidly changing world of computing is to give them the skills and knowledge that enables them to readily adapt to those changes.
I attended the University of the West Indies-Mona from 2013 to 2016 pursuing a BSc in Computer Science. As of 2018 the department had produced over 1316 Bachelor's degree holders and over 211 graduates with M.Sc., M.Phil. and PhD degrees.
The University of the West Indies, Mona (UWI- Mona) is now a partner of the International Software Architecture Quality Board (iSAQB).
