Eyton Ferguson joined the staff of the Department of Computing in August 2003 after more than 16 years in Industry. During his time in industry he worked with private sector companies (XEROX, Life of Jamaica, and others) and also as a consultant to the Planning Institute of Jamaica. In addition to acquiring hands on experience in applying technology to real life problems he has gained a deep understanding of organizational structures and procedures that help him to effectively underscore the topics he teaches.
Eyton is an amateur musician. He plays around on the guitar, writes poetry, and records songs privately (at home).
