Cisco Program Offered:   CCNA - Certified Network Associate

Specific Programme:      CCNA Exploration

CCNA Exploration is primarily designed for Academy students with advanced probmem solving techniques and analytical skills, typically associated with degree programs in Engineering, Science or Maths.

(Alternative is CCNA Discovery. CCNA Discovery is designed for students with basic PC skills and foundational math and problem solveing skills.)

The CCNA Exploration is composed of four courses/modules:

  • Network Fundamentals
  • Routing Protocols and Concepts
  • LAN Switching and Wireless
  • Accessing the WAN

For each Module:

Duration:     70 hours

                  2 evenings a week (Tuesday & Thursday)

                  3 hours per evening

                  12 weeks

For Module 1:      Start: May 30, 2011;     End: August 19, 2011

Exams:

After passing the module exam you get a certificate

To sit Cisco certification exam you register with Cisco

Cost per module: $20, 000

Method of payment:

  1. Get a statement from the department or follow this link>> to fill out online form
  2. Pay at Bursary Cachier in the Annex Building
