Overview

Jason Tambie is an educator, physical geographer, and geospatial researcher. His current research includes the use of satellite data for investigating rainfall and oceanic features, quantitative and geospatial analyses, and geography education. He has over ten years experience as a GIS and Geography educator working with undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as the public sector. Jason enjoys the academic research community and has participated in regional and international workshops and conferences such as those hosted by the Pan American Advanced Studies Institute, The Royal Society, Centre for Resource Management and Environmental Studies (CERMES) and the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT).
An avid music enthusiast, Jason spends his time collecting vinyl records and CDs.
