BSc, Banking and Finance, Special


The Banking and Finance degree programme is jointly offered by the Departments of Economics and Management Studies.  It is designed to provide students with the theoretical and practical exposure to the dynamics of the Caribbean financial sector. Students are exposed to critical aspects of financial institutions performance, risk analysis, financial sector regulation, as well as the role of the financial sector in economic development. In addition to preparing students for entry level positions in the financial sector, the programme facilitates upward mobility of individuals who are already working in the sector. Additionally, the degree programme provides the foundation for students who may have the medium term objective of pursuing further studies in field of Banking and Finance.

N.B) As a special degree, this option cannot be combined with any Major or Minor.
