Chavon Rogers received his PhD in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He works on issues related to overlapping emergencies in climate change, macroeconomics, development, and the environment, with a focus on small open economies. His current projects examine the macroeconomic impact of climate change on small island states, focusing on how extreme weather events and climatic conditions affect fiscal space, inflation, central bank green monetary policy, and climate finance. He is also interested in the political economy of natural resource extraction in developing countries and energy justice.
