Modified posture makes patients more comfortable and relaxed during the peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) procedure. It has comparable rate of procedure-related complications and catheter heterotopias with traditional posture.
ABSTRACT
Objective: This paper aimed to evaluate a modified posture for PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter) catheter placement by comparing with traditional posture in terms of procedure-related complications and catheter heterotopia.
