There was a 2-day workshop featuring global expert, Professor Gerrit Hoogen-boom from the Institute for Sustainable Food Systems, University of Florida, and Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering. The training took place during the period of July 16 - 27 and highlighted crop modelling with the aim of supporting the university's mandate of helping the agricultural sector in the Caribbean to adapt to climate change.
