The UWI/Guardian Life Premium Teaching Award for 2018 was awarded on Thursday November 8, 2018 to Dr. Aisha Spencer, a lecturer in Language and Literature Education. The runners up included Dr. Venkateswara Rao Penugonda from the Department of Physics, as well as Ms Lisa Brown (Literatures in English) and Dr. Wayne Palmer (Deputy, Dean, FMS). Lecturers with teaching scores of 4.5 or higher (maximum of 5) were also recognized including many from FST. The Faculty celebrates all these stellar awardees.
