FST Recognizes World Day Against Human Trafficking - July 30

The Faculty of Science and Technology, UWI Mona hosted a Staff Engagement Programme (StEP) viewing of the Jamaican short-film, UNBOUND, in commemoration of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons recognized annually on July 30. Over 50 members of the staff attended the viewing which was followed by a stimulating presentation led by FST past student and current Data Science and Risk Management specialist, Adrian Dunkley. Adrian is also the Chief Information Officer and Data Scientist for JOZU, a travel and safety company, on a mission to minimize human trafficking using Humans and Artificial Intelligence. At the end of the event, one member of staff also won movie tickets in a prize drawing.
