The Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Professor Michael Taylor who is also director of the Climate Studies Group, Mona (CSGM) - recently represented the community at the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as a coordinating lead author for the Special Report on 1.5 Degrees where Caribbean and other SIDS fought to defend the scientific evidence that 1.5°C (verses 2°C) is the approproate target to cap global warming.
