The Centre for Marine Sciences (CMS), Faculty of Science and Technology at The University of the West Indies, Mona received a generous contribution of US$100,000 from MBJ Airports Ltd. This donation has been made possible through the Airport Improvement Fund and is earmarked for advancing our research in mangrove blue carbon. Specifically, these funds will be used to acquire CHN Analyser. The hand-over ceremony took place at the Discovery Bay Marine Laboratory on September 19, 2023. The FST extends gratitude to MBJ Airports Ltd for their timely contribution.
