Arianna Eppes is pursuing a degree in Applied Chemistry in the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), The University of the West, Mona, where she now serves as President of the FST Guild Committee for the 2025/2026 academic year.
A graduate of The Wolmer’s Trust High School for Girls, she has been actively involved in student leadership throughout her time at The UWI Mona. Her service includes roles such as: President (2025/2026) and Vice President (2024/2025), American Chemical Society – UWI Chapter; Secretary (2024/2025) and Treasurer (2023/2024) - The UWI Mona Chemical Society; Chemistry Department Representative (2024/2025) and Academic Chairperson (2023/2024) - FST Guild Committee; Chairperson, Environmental Committee (2024/2025) and Fundraising & Sponsorship Coordinator (2023/2024), Jade Block External Affairs -Mary Seacole Hall and Director, Partner & Outreach (2025/2026) - STEMPower Foundation.
As President, Arianna is dedicated to building a stronger sense of community within the Faculty while encouraging innovation and active student participation. She is committed to transparent leadership, advocacy, and ensuring that the needs of students are addressed.
Outside of her academic and leadership roles, Arianna is a pannist with The UWI Panoridim Steel Orchestra. She is also a budding entrepreneur in the fashion industry, where she designs and creates costumes as a seamstress/tailor.
