The goals of the ‘One Health, One Global Environment Conference’ are to exchange knowledge and data to further enhance understanding of the role that the environmental health discipline can play in addressing One Health issues globally. For optimizing the 2023 One Health, One Global Environment Conference, we arrived at an overarching objective: to enhance the gender diversity and scientific expertise of our environmental health attendees working in an emerging one health research area of increasing global health importance.
