November 7 is International Day of Medical Physics

The 7th of November is the International Day of Medical Physics as publicised by the International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP). The theme of this year’s celebration is “Medical Physicist as a Health Professional”. Medical Physicist is a growing health profession globally and regionally and since 2010 has been included in the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO) of the UN International Labour Organization (ILO).
